Set within it’s own large private landscaped garden and with plenty of on-site parking, this spacious former family home is an ideal base for exploring the Orkney mainland and it’s surrounding islands.
Situated within a half hour drive of any point on the Orkney mainland, a stay at our cottage will enable you to make the most of your visit to Orkney. The internal car ferry service to the outer islands and Kirkwall Airport are also just a short drive away.
Rugged scenery, quiet sandy beaches, an abundance of natural history and archaeological sites are just some of the many reasons to visit these beautiful northerly islands. The pictureseque harbourfront and marina or the town centre, dominated by the magnificent 12th century St Magnus Cathedral are a pleasant 10-15 minute walk from Kjarstad.
